At Minster Micro Computers Ltd, we provide reliable, friendly, and efficient IT support services from small local businesses to national corporate bodies. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a motivated and confident Telemarketer to help us connect with potential new business clients and promote our range of IT solutions.
We have been providing our services and products to the business community for over forty years, and many of our customers have been with us since we began trading back in 1979.
We have a great mix of staff, some who have been with us for over 20-years and others who others have joined us more recently via Apprenticeships and our own Minster Academy, or by bringing their IT knowledge and experience to the business. This keeps the business fresh and dynamic, and makes for a really collaborative and creative environment. New ideas are actively encouraged and celebrated, giving everyone the opportunity to develop within their role.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Previous telemarketing, lead generation, or sales experience (with a minimum of 1-year within this type of role).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confident telephone manner and strong persuasive abilities.
  • Basic understanding of IT services (training provided).
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and very organised.
  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Operating and maintaining a proprietary CRM system such as Microsoft CRM, Salesforce, ConnectWise Sell or Pegasus Opera 3 CRM.

Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW:

As a Telemarketer, you’ll be the first point of contact between our company and prospective clients. Your main responsibility will be to generate interest, qualify leads, and set appointments for our sales team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Making out-bound telephone calls to potential business clients.
  • Introducing and promote our IT support services.
  • Qualifying prospects and gather key business information.
  • Scheduling appointments or call-backs for the sales team.
  • Maintaining accurate records of calls and interactions.
  • Assisting with answering in-bound telephone calls, including raising support, sales and finance tickets for the other teams within the business.
  • Ensuring that great communication (to maintain our Gold Standard) for Customer Service is maintained at all stages.
    As with all roles, the duties will vary depending on the needs of the business and therefore we are looking for somebody who is flexible and naturally intuitive.
