TELEMARKETER / TELEMARKETING EXECUTIVE

£25,000 basic with OTE of £35,000, Burgess Hill, Monday to Friday, 9am - 6pm, Permanent, on-site parking, ongoing development opportunities.

REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a proactive, results-oriented attitude. Previous experience in outbound telemarketing, telesales, or a similar customer engagement role is highly desirable. Familiarity with CRM systems and the ability to articulate technical concepts to customers would be beneficial. A degree is preferred but not essential.
This role could suit someone who has worked as a Telemarketer, Telesales Executive, or Business Development Representative. It could be an ideal role for someone who has worked in a call centre, but is looking for a smaller environment.

Responsibilities

We are seeking an enthusiastic and target-driven Outbound Telemarketing Executive / Telemarketer to join a market-leading client in their scientific field. This role plays a key part in engaging and qualifying prospective customers. Working within a small supportive sales team and reporting to the Sales Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of early-stage client engagement.

  • Connecting with customers who have expressed an interest in the company’s services
  • Following a determined script to assess and prequalify prospective clients
  • Relay information about products and services to prospective clients
  • Maintain and update CRM records with detailed call notes
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure seamless lead handover
  • Achieve KPIs for call volume, conversions, and customer engagement
  • Attend exhibitions as required to generate new leads
  • Participate in regular sales training and development sessions
  • Rotate with team members to provide emergency out-of-hours phone cover
