Responsibilities Observes ECG monitoring, documents rhythm activity, and notifies appropriate care givers for changes in a patient's cardiac rhythms. Assists the Registered nurse or the Licensed Practical Nurse in patient care tasks. Performs clerical tasks, including, but not limited to answering phones, transporting specimens and reviewing other monitoring as required. Qualifications Education: High school graduate or GED preferred. Experience: Prior healthcare experience preferred. Licenses/certifications: CPR required. Responsibilities
The Telemetry Tech observes ECG monitoring and documents cardiac rhythm activity to notify caregivers of changes. They also assist nursing staff with patient care and perform various clerical and transport tasks.
