Job Requirements A Day in the Life of a Telemetry Tech Works under the supervision of the Charge Nurse or Clinical Nurse Manager. Maintains appropriate telemetry documentation and records. Maintains all necessary telemetry equipment and supplies. Works collaboratively with the RN in charge to meet physicians, coworkers, management and other department needs. Mandatory education and contact education requirements including 12 CEUs per year. Responsibilities
The Telemetry Tech is responsible for the continuous monitoring of telemetry patients and promptly reporting changes or problems to the RN. They also maintain necessary telemetry equipment, supplies, and documentation.
