Description
Responsibilities Observes ECG monitoring, documents rhythm activity, and notifies appropriate care givers for changes in a patient's cardiac rhythms. Assists the Registered nurse or the Licensed Practical Nurse in patient care tasks. Performs clerical tasks, including, but not limited to answering phones, transporting specimens and reviewing other monitoring as required. Qualifications Education: High school graduate or GED preferred. Experience: Prior healthcare experience preferred. Licenses/certifications: CPR required. Responsibilities
The Telemetry Tech observes ECG monitoring, documents rhythm activity, and notifies caregivers of changes in cardiac rhythms. They also assist nurses with patient care tasks and perform clerical duties.
