Position Overview Department: Emergency Schedule: Part- Time- Rotating day & night shift Work Location: UAB St. Vincent's Blount- Oneonta, Al. Benefits for eligible positions only include: generous paid time off, paid parental leave, Associate Assistance Program, Tuition Reimbursement Program, and more What You Will Do Perform various activities regarding telemetry monitoring on patients requiring continual cardiac monitoring. Oversee and communicate cardiac patterns on telemetric devices. Maintain telemetry monitoring equipment and supply inventory. Document irregular rhythms and monitor changes in heartbeat. Forward changes to nurse and/or attending physician for analysis and interpretation. What You Will Need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted Education: High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. *Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable. Responsibilities

The Telemetry Technician will perform various activities related to telemetry monitoring for patients requiring continuous cardiac observation, including overseeing and communicating cardiac patterns observed on telemetric devices. They are also responsible for maintaining monitoring equipment, managing supply inventory, and documenting irregular rhythms for physician review.
