ADVANCE VAUXHALL TELEPHONIST / RECEPTIONIST BOOKINGS AGENT

Join Advance Vauxhall Berkshire and become part of our dedicated Business Development Centre. As we expand our operations, we are seeking a dedicated Telephonist / Receptionist Bookings Agent to join our team and ensure the smooth operation of our workshop. It’s a great opportunity for any candidates attempting to break into the automotive industry. Applicants can be put forward for specialist Vauxhall training.
Position Overview: We are looking for a positive and bright Telephonist / Receptionist Booking Agent to help with anything customer related! You’ll play a key role in customer retention by creating a great customer journey throughout the customers experience from bookings to aftercare. You will be a critical point of contact for any issues that arise, with a view to problem solve and adapt to customers needs on a case by case basis

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Candidates must have an excellent telephone manner, good use of probing and gaining full insight of the customers needs.
  • Must be a quick learner to pick up our systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a polite and helpful manner
  • Confident and enthusiastic with the ability to build rapport easily with a variety of customers
  • Computer literate EG. Office suite, Microsoft, Excel etc with a methodical and organised approach to work with attention to detail
  • Previous experience in a similar role would be highly advantageous
    Full training will be provided & there are further career opportunities within the group.
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
    Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for answering inbound telephone calls & processing them appropriately.
  • Making and receiving calls, queries and emails from Vauxhall customers for appointments including servicing, repairs, diagnostic work & MOTs.
  • Successfully upselling when possible.
  • Monitoring call back requests to ensure they are completed promptly.
  • Building a rapport with customers while identifying what assistance or information they require.
  • This position will be primarily customer service orientated so the highest levels professionalism must be maintained at all times.
  • Being the first point of contact for our customers and professionally representing the Vauxhall brand
  • Contributing to a happy, positive working and team environment.
  • Rewarding commission structure in place.
  • Assisting with general administrative duties in the dealership with accuracy and attention to detail.
