JOB SPECIFICATION: TELEPORTER DRIVER

Position Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Teleporter Driver to join our team. As a Teleporter Driver, you will be responsible for operating and maneuvering telehandlers to safely transport materials and equipment on construction sites. Your expertise in operating telehandlers and adherence to safety regulations will be essential in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of materials.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate telehandlers to lift, move, and transport materials and equipment as required.
• Load and unload materials from trucks or other vehicles using the telehandler.
• Transport materials to designated areas on the construction site, ensuring accurate placement.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations while operating the telehandler.
• Conduct routine inspections of the telehandler, reporting any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the telehandler and surrounding work area.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
• Follow instructions from supervisors or project managers regarding material transportation.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Teleporter Driver, with a strong understanding of telehandler operations.
• Valid telehandler certification or relevant qualifications.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in operating telehandlers.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, instructions, and safety guidelines.
• Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality work standards.

Additional Information:

• This position may require working at heights and in confined spaces.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime when necessary.
