TELESALES AND COUNTER SALES OPPORTUNITY – JOIN OUR AVS LEWES TEAM

Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service both on the telephone (inbound and outbound) and face-to-face at the trade counter.
  • Previous sales experience within a builders’ merchant, trade counter, or similar retail environment (essential)
  • Accurately process customer orders and quotations for a wide range of building materials
  • Respond actively to customer enquiries, offering informed advice and product recommendations
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleagues
  • Identify sales opportunities and upsell relevant products to meet customer needs
  • Maintain high standards of branch presentation, stock levels, and compliance
  • Assist with follow-ups on leads, sales promotions, and branch marketing initiatives
  • Support teamwork and continuous improvement within the branch
  • Uphold all health and safety policies and ensure safe working practices
  • Strong telephone, written, and face-to-face communication skills
  • Consultative approach with a passion for providing excellent service
  • Confidence in working with targets and drive to achieve branch ambitions
  • Positive attitude, adaptability, and teamwork ethos
  • Attention to detail and efficient organisation skills
  • Keen to learn about new products and systems (full training will be provided)
  • Comfortable using point-of-sale and order processing systems
