Description

A Telemarketer, or Telesales Representative, is responsible for talking to potential customers on the phone to sell products. Their duties include explaining the benefits of their products and generating meetings.

A Telemarketer’s daily duties focus primarily on convincing the person they call to buy a product. The duties and responsibilities for a Telemarketer are:

  • Engage with prospective clients over phone calls to pitch the products.
  • Generate qualified leads and secure appointments for the sales team.
  • Communicate the features, advantages, and pricing of products.
  • Handle customer questions and provide accurate information.
  • Maintain records of customer interactions, including those who prefer not to be contacted.
  • Follow up with past customers to explore new sales opportunities.
  • Consistently meet or exceed daily and monthly targets.
