JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Telesales Specialist to join our expanding solar company. This is a full-time, office-based role where you will be responsible for generating leads, promoting our solar products and services, and booking appointments with potential customers. Your communication and persuasive skills will be key in expanding our customer base and contributing to the company’s growth in the renewable energy industry.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in telesales, appointment setting, or outbound call centre roles is preferred.
  • Knowledge of solar energy products and services, as well as the renewable energy industry, is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with potential customers.
  • Strong persuasive and negotiation skills to overcome objections and convert leads into appointments.
  • Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software to manage leads and track sales progress.
  • Outstanding organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing processes, strategies, and market trends.
  • 2 years of experience in sales or related fields is advantageous.
  • A commitment to environmentally sustainable practices and a passion for promoting renewable energy solutions is desirable.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct outbound calls to potential customers from provided leads, introducing them to our solar products and services.
  • Engage prospects in meaningful conversations to understand their energy needs and explain how our solar solutions can benefit them.
  • Effectively articulate the value proposition of our solar products, highlighting cost-saving benefits, environmental advantages, and potential incentives.
  • Handle objections and concerns with professionalism, using persuasive techniques to generate interest and set up appointments.
  • Book qualified appointments for our solar consultants to conduct in-home or virtual consultations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and lead statuses in the CRM system.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to optimize lead generation efforts and follow up on marketing campaigns.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, solar technology advancements, and competitor offerings to address customer inquiries effectively.
  • Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive experience for potential customers throughout the lead qualification process.
