Future Industrial Services is one of the largest providers of liquid waste removal; industrial services such as tank and interceptor cleaning; labour provision to industry; hazardous waste removal; oil/water separation and specialist metal recovery. We have recently joined the Augean Group creating a business providing an even larger range of waste/industrial services across the country.
The role
Nestled between the Blackdown Hills and East Devon Areas of Outstanding Natural beauty, Honiton is a great place to live and work. You will be based in our regional head office within the Honiton Depot. In this newly created office based role you will be a vital part of our hugely successful Commercial Department which is responsible for selling our services to client businesses. Working alongside members of the Commercial and Operational teams, the aim of the Telesales Specialist is to grow the business. Among your duties you will be responsible for maintaining contact with existing clients and making contact with prospective clients to ascertain their need for the services we can offer. As your knowledge and experience grows, you will advise clients on safe and legal handling of hazardous waste and generate quotes.
About you
To apply for the post of Telesales Specialist you must have a background in business to business sales. The ideal candidate will have experience of the hazardous waste industry with a knowledge of waste handling regulations but these can be learned as part of the probation period.
You will need to have a desire to take your knowledge of business to business sales into the hazardous waste industry and as such you will need to have a confident, cheerful and polite telephone manner as well as excellent written skills to communicate with clients by email. The right candidate may also be interested in developing their career in sales to become a field Business Development Manager.
You will have excellent IT user skills, proficient in the use of MS Office applications especially Word, Excel and Outlook.
