Highlights of the role: The Data Processing Center (CED) Specialist is the first and second level maintenance for the HW and SW equipment support for the User Ground Segment end-user systems. He/She executes all activities related to CED system administration of the UGS (User Ground Segment) executing preventive and corrective maintenance procedures, ensuring continuity service. He/She shall work in an integrated team following H8 5/7 work. Activities/Responsibilities: First and Second level maintenance for HW and SW equipment of the CED Support to external L3 HW intervention Ensure schedule and activity for: the backup of the servers and consoles HW restart firmware updates control of licences guarantees Corrective and preventive maintenance management: routine and scheduled audits of all systems System administration policy HW installation/configuration Definition and maintenance of workarounds and troubleshooting procedures Collaborate with the PHS&T for supply chain refurbishment Qualifications/Experience: Engineering or technical discipline degree At least 5 years of experience Very Good knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems Good experience IT/ground segment technologies: virtualization, networking, etc. Very Good knowledge of server configuration and maintenance, storage, network items English knowledge Desirable Skills: Knowledge of Networking, Network Protocols and related issues Knowledge of programming languages (Java, Python, Bash script, Javascript) Knowledge of ICT security elements Qualities: Team player, open and keen to contribute Conscientious, hard working Attention to detail Execution effectiveness and continuity What We Offer: A stimulating and dynamic working environment with flexible working hours Comprehensive health insurance Meal voucher, company canteen and employee welfare programs Free access to online learning platform with courses from top universities Opportunities for international experiences Why Telespazio: At Telespazio, the well-being, safety, and development of our people are at the heart of our corporate culture.
