Job Summary: Tellers provide customer service by processing transactions like Help members, transactions, deposits, loan payments, and check cashing. Other tasks include balancing the ATM, processing night drop and mail, scanning documents, and handling coin bags. Primary Responsibilities: Member Transactions & Service – 80% (Deposits, withdrawals, payments, inquiries) Processing Night Drop & Mail – 10% Balancing ATM – 5% Scanning, Coin Handling & Other Tasks – 5% Expectations: Stay updated on credit union products, policies, and regulations. Follow all security, privacy, and compliance guidelines. Provide professional service to members, coworkers, and vendors. Attend meetings and complete required training. Maintain punctuality and professionalism. Job Qualifications Qualifications: High school diploma or GED preferred. Less than 12 months of teller or cashier experience required. Skills & Competencies: Basic understanding of teller operations and procedures. Analytical skills to resolve member issues. Ability to use office equipment (computers, phones, copiers). Strong communication skills (face-to-face, email, letters). Ability to handle sensitive information and collaborate effectively.
