EQUITABLE BANK IS LOOKING FOR AN EXPERIENCED TELLER TO JOIN OUR NORTH PLATTE TEAM. THIS POSITION IS A FULL-TIME POSITION, HOURS WILL VARY MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8:00 AM TO 5:30 PM AND SATURDAY FROM 8:00 AM TO 12:00 PM. JOB DESCRIPTION Summary: This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service while efficiently and accurately processing customer’s transactions.  Job Functions: * Responsible for comprehensive, prompt and efficient processing of customer transactions * Receives checks and cash for deposits to accounts, verifies amounts, examines checks for proper endorsements and enters deposits into computer records. * Balances cash drawer at the end of the shift. Reports any discrepancies to supervisor. * Explains bank services and charges to customers * Ensures that the teller station is properly stocked with forms, supplies, etc. * Cashes checks from a variety of accounts upon proper verification * Receives mortgage, consumer loan and other payments and enters into computer. * Issues Official Checks and Gift Cards. * Reports malfunctions of teller terminals and other equipment used at the teller station. * Cross-sells bank products and services as appropriate. * Performs all other duties as assigned such as counting coin and currency, general receptionist duties, filing, etc. Qualifications * High School Diploma or Equivalent * 1+ years customer service experience * Banking experience preferred. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office products * Excellent communication skills, including verbal and phone * Creativity and resourcefulness * Excellent time management skills * Ability to handle multiple priorities and ensure accurate and timely completion of all tasks Member FDIC, Equal Housing Lender, Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
