Your Role: The Temporary Facilities Manager to lead and support the relocation of our corporate headquarters and the planning, build-out, and operational readiness of a new Electric Vehicle (EV) Research & Development Center. This role is highly project-driven and will work cross-functionally with leadership, engineering, real estate, vendors, and local authorities to ensure a smooth transition and successful launch of the new facility satisfaction. Responsibilities: HQ Relocation Management Lead all facilities-related aspects of relocating the corporate headquarters to a new location Develop and manage the relocation timeline, milestones, and budget Coordinate with internal department leaders, movers, and external vendors Oversee space planning, and workplace setup Ensure business continuity and minimal disruption during the move EV R&D Center Build-Out Manage facilities planning and execution for the new EV R&D center Coordinate build-out activities including labs, testing areas, workshops, offices, and common spaces Work with engineering, safety, and compliance teams to ensure facilities meet R&D, electrical, and testing requirements Oversee contractors, architects, engineers, and construction vendors Ensure compliance with zoning, environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements Operations & Compliance Establish operational readiness for the new facility (utilities, maintenance, security, access control) Support permitting, inspections, and occupancy approvals Implement safety protocols, emergency procedures, and site policies Manage vendor contracts, service agreements, and facilities documentation Stakeholder & Project Coordination Act as the primary facility point of contact for internal and external stakeholders Provide regular project updates to leadership Identify risks and proactively resolve issues related to schedule, cost, or scope Qualifications 5+ years of facilities management experience, preferably with relocations and new site buildouts Experience supporting R&D, engineering, manufacturing, or technological environments (EV or automotive a plus) Strong knowledge of construction management, space planning, and facilities operations Experience managing contractors, vendors, and multi-disciplinary teams Familiarity with safety, environmental, and building code compliance Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills Preferred Experience Experience with EV, automotive, battery, or advanced technology R&D facilities Experience with laboratory or high voltage/electrical environments PMP or facilities-related certifications (CFM, FMP) Hourly Range: $55 - $75/hour Faraday Future is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, protected veteran status, disability, age, or other legally protected status.
