The Role We are looking for a Purchasing Specialist to support, maintain, and improve our partner’s procurement operation. You’ll track and report compliance and inventory, and will work on invoice reconciliation. Additionally, you’ll perform data entry and data reconciliation, and data analysis to identify trends and variances. We require strong analytical skills and a high proficiency in Excel and Google-sheets. What You’ll Do: Support the Payables cycle by creating Purchase Orders for approval, updating them as needed, and submitting invoices for review/approval. Support the Receivables cycle for parts sales by creating quotes for approval, submitting invoices, and tracking sales of parts. Use critical thinking skills to analyze, organize, and present reports on various areas of the organization. Follow up on all supplier orders, including delivery estimates and transit times. Verify and investigate discrepancies in data or processes. Identify trends and opportunities to improve operations through the analysis of complex data sets. Evaluate internal reports for efficiency, problem areas, and inaccuracies; develop and maintain protocols for data handling, processing, and cleaning. Work directly with management and users to gather requirements, provide status updates, and build relationships. Handle real-time inventory management, generating inbound and outbound transactions. What We Expect From You: Excellent English (spoken and written) Accounts Payables and/or bookkeeping experience Procurement / Inventory experience Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and their deadlines. Proven analytic skills, including evaluation, analysis, and visualization. Technical writing experience in relevant areas, including queries, reports, and presentations Ability to interact with technical staff to make reports easier to digest and thus need fewer instructions Able to communicate effectively with various stakeholders (engineers to sales) and possess solid presentation skills Learn independently; know when to ask for help, but prefer to try to figure something out on your own first Ability to flourish with minimal supervision and thrives working independently Proven success in a collaborative, team-oriented environment Strong Microsoft Office skills If you already have any of the skills below that is a big plus, if not we will teach you!
