Position Summary: To assist management in maintaining or improving cleanliness quality through inspections, training and employee accountability, including employee counseling or disciplining. Team Leaders must build upon established employee or customer relationships, improve employee morale, and help develop subordinates on a continuous basis. Experience Possess knowledge of tools and proficiency in their usage also demonstrating a history of related cleaning experience preferably with a major institution, and a solid work ethic Essential Tasks & Responsibilities: * Conduct daily inspections for quality and safety. Make necessary corrections. * Understand all employee work assignments and schedule for adequate coverage. * Conduct training and retraining as necessary. Follow recommended training process. * Maintain effective business relationship with staff. Build upon and develop employee satisfaction and knowledge. * Enforce department policies, follow up on daily assignments, and report any issues to their Supervisor, Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager * Maintain loyalty and honesty with employees, peers, customers and managers. * Monitor special projects and on-call or new employees. * Tour areas of responsibility at least 2-4 times daily and report any issues to their Supervisor, Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager * Audit building keys, pagers, and make sure employees are in their areas of responsibility. * Ensure all projects, maintenance, or cleaning challenges are communicated effectively for resolution. * Control supply inventories and distribute equipment effectively. * Supervise equipment performance and make necessary corrections. * Assist in performing employee performance evaluations and make recommendations on employee performance ratings. * Observe and report the need of furniture or other building fixtures repairs. * When necessary, complete custodial work assignments. * In case of emergency, perform all duties as assigned. * Provide functional/operational support to work area as essential personnel during times of emergency, catastrophe, inclement weather, et * Taking down Steel cube walls * Removing hard demountable walls * Dismantling furniture * Palletizing furniture, equipment, and getting it ready for transportation * Empty all trash receptacles in designated areas in accordance with the daily work schedules. Performs detailed custodial functions including floor care. Perform standard janitorial duties including dusting, detailing, vacuuming, sanitizing, waxing, buffing and stripping floors, and cleaning restrooms, common areas, and windows. * Clean all tabletops, fixtures, file cabinets, desks, dividers, partitions, elevator doors, entry doors, walls and surfaces to ensure that they are free from dust and dirt in accordance with the daily work schedules. * Clean, service, and police all restrooms, dorm rooms, gyms, offices, lobby, hallways, classrooms, and manufacturing areas, etc. in accordance with the daily work schedules. * Stock all supply dispensers in restrooms and ensure that all shelves and surfaces are clean and dry. * Ensure that all glass mirrors and interior and exterior doors are free from smudges, stains, discoloration, rust, mold, encrustation, excess moisture or spots. * Ensure that all designated areas are vacuumed, swept, and mopped on a daily basis, or as assigned.
