On top of that, Trafera also provides support to educators and admins to ensure that the technology we sell can be meaningfully integrated into the student learning experience.  Seasonal Warehouse Associate We are looking for seasonal team members to join our production team this Summer. No prior production experience is necessary, our team will show you everything you need to know. * Shift: * Monday - Friday, 7:30am-4pm * Pay: $17.50/hr * Length of position: flexible start date but position will be no more than 2 months (could be extended if needed) Essential Responsibilities: The following essential functions represent the primary work performed; however, other responsibilities could be expected that are not detailed here but fall within the scope of this role. • Requires travel at least once day per week • Ensure that the truck is safely and accurately loaded and unloaded • Must be able to drive a box truck on occasion • Maintain appropriate licensing, credentials, and exceptional driving record • Banding and strapping panels for recycling • Unload inbound panels on trucks on Tuesdays through June 26th. (All panels will be received by Newline by this week.) • Stage panels at warehouse by order for easy loading. • Scan serial numbers for each panel order by school into appropriate spreadsheet. • Load new panels into box truck. • Drive new panels to customer site and unload in common area. • While at customer site - box/band/palletize old panels. • Load old panels onto box truck. • Drive panels from customer site to temporary warehouse facility. • Unload panels from box truck into temporary trailer dropped by ODI for recycling. Minimum Skills, Abilities, and Requirements: • 1+ years of progressive experience in delivery driving, driving, customer service, warehouse or other related transportation or warehouse role • Demonstrated problem-solving skills • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively present ideas and deliverables to internal and external stakeholders/customers • Creative, and results oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate with others to identify and solve issues, make proactive recommendations, and lead through influence • Self-directed work style, able to work autonomously, prioritize and deliver results • Forklift & material lift experience encouraged, but not required • Must have an active driver’s license • Must currently have DOT certification or pass DOT certification after hire Technology and Systems: • Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) • CSI • Pacejet Work Environment, Physical, and Mental Demands:  Incumbents in this role will primarily perform their work in a production warehouse environment and interact with team members throughout the facility in both office and production warehouse environments. The production warehouse will work with and around a variety of industrial warehouse tools, equipment and vehicles, such as forklifts and packaging machines, in an environment that includes exposure to loud noise levels, vibration, dust, fumes, mechanical hazards, bright lights and hot or cold temperatures. While performing the duties of this position, incumbents may be expected to do any of the following, with or without accommodation: • Use tools, machinery, or equipment at their workstation for long periods, up to an entire shift, managing the controls of the tools, machinery or equipment in a safe and effective manner • Use computer keyboard, mobile device, desktop computer, laptop, calculator, telephone, walkie talkie, copy machine and other production warehouse tools or controls • Mentally focus on tasks and apply sound reasoning and judgement • Review documents, monitors or displays with potentially small print • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, face shields, hard hats, masks, gloves or other PPE if required safety and effectively • Move through the production warehouse facility on potentially uneven or slippery surface • Respond to safety control noises or alarms such as fire alarm, forklifts horns, and machinery alerts • Drivers must be able to climb in and out of delivery trucks multiple times a day. Reach under, over, above or around workstation, equipment, machinery or other objects such as bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and climbing to perform work • Stamina: Ability to sit for long periods while driving, interspersed with highly physical periods of loading and unloading cargo in varying weather conditions. • Grip & Dexterity: Strong hand-grip strength and manual dexterity to handle packages, open truck doors, strap down freight, and operate scanning devices or tablets. • Vision & Hearing: Standard commercial driving vision requirements and the ability to hear traffic signals, backup alarms, and verbal instructions. • Lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds and potentially heavier weights with the proper equipment The typical workdays and hours: Monday – Friday 7:30 am – 4:00 pm. This role is temporary, until about June 26th, but is subject to change. This role is classified as full-time nonexempt (hourly), and incumbents will work a minimum of 40 hours in a work week. Work is expected to be delivered within established deadlines and quality standards within specific time periods. This is typically within a 40-hour work week. Overtime (working more than 40 hours in a work week) may be worked when approved or could be required if requested by a manager.
