We Temp Glass Inc. is a leading glass manufacturing company located in Markham, Toronto. We specialize in high-performance glass cutting, tempered glass, glass bending and glass lamination, offering a wide range of products to meet architectural and performance criteria across various industries.
We’re currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Glass-Tempering Furnace Operator to join our production team.
As a Glass-Tempering Furnace Operator, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring glass tempering equipment to ensure glass is processed safely and to specification.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in a Tempered Glass Furnace Operator is an Required
  • Ability to understand measurements and basic machine operation
  • Physically capable of lifting glass sheets and standing for extended periods
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Willingness to learn and take direction
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Forklift experience is a plus

Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor glass tempering furnace and related machinery
  • Load/unload glass sheets and inspect for defects before and after tempering
  • Monitor gauges, temperatures, and computer readouts to ensure proper furnace operation
  • Adjust machine settings for glass size, thickness, and type
  • Maintain accurate production records and shift logs
  • Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of equipment
  • lAssist with cutting, shaping, or polishing glass when required
  • Follow all safety and quality standards
