The Role Norton is looking for commercially driven and relationship-focused Area Sales Managers (X2 Roles Vacant) to oversee retail and dealer network performance within the Secondary Market Territories. This role will be key in driving motorcycle and accessories sales, improving retail standards, and supporting our dealer partners to deliver sustainable growth in alignment with our brand goals. As Area Sales Managers, you will be the vital link between the business and our dealer network. Working closely with your Regional Sales Business Manager, you will coach, challenge, and support dealerships to meet and exceed targets, uphold brand standards, and deliver an outstanding customer experience. Duties/Responsibilities Dealer Engagement & Performance Act as the primary point of contact for a new, growing group of Secondary Markets dealerships. Monitor and analyse dealer sales performance (new and used motorcycles, accessories, finance, etc.) and work collaboratively to improve results Provide clear action plans and support for underperforming dealers Lead quarterly business reviews with dealers and support strategic planning Sales Execution & Reporting Deliver area sales targets in line with national objectives. Track pipeline health and demand forecasting across dealers Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales, stock levels, and order intake. Work with internal teams (marketing, product, operations) to optimise territory performance. Network Development Support the implementation of sales campaigns and product launches at a local level. Identify opportunities to improve retail coverage, brand visibility, and customer satisfaction. Contribute to dealer appointment, onboarding, or network change decisions in your region. Brand and Retail Standards Ensure dealer adherence to corporate identity, retail standards, and customer experience guidelines. Promote best practices across your area to drive consistency and customer loyalty. Champion the voice of the dealer and the customer within the wider business. Personal Specification Knowledge of motorcycle products, retail operations, and dealership business models. Experience in sales reporting tools and CRM systems. Passion for the motorcycle industry and enthusiasm for engaging with customers and dealers alike. Critical Requirement - Proven experience in a field-based sales role, ideally within the automotive or motorcycle industry. Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse performance data and drive improvements. Confident communicator with excellent influencing, coaching, and negotiation skills. Self-motivated and organised with a results-driven mindset.
