A great UHY client is seeking a Temporary Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have QuickBooks Enterprise and Reconciliation/Clean Up experience.
The Temporary Accountant position is a remote position. This is a client contract position.

TEMPORARY ACCOUNTANT QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience with QuickBooks Enterprise or comparable accounting systems.
  • Strong background in reconciliations, clean-up projects, and payroll tax compliance.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in small-to-mid-size business environments.
  • Demonstrated experience with month-end close and cash flow management/forecasting.
  • High attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently.

    - Effective communicator, comfortable providing recommendations to leadership.

Responsibilities
  • Perform reconciliations and assist with clean-up of historical accounting records, including quarterly payroll tax filings.
  • Maintain and update financial records within QuickBooks Enterprise (or similar platform).
  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in accounting records.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Conduct ongoing reconciliations of funding/cash reports to improve financial accuracy.
  • Develop and manage cash flow forecasting processes to support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with leadership to provide insights and recommendations for financial and operational improvements.
