Where You’ll Work: Supply Management / Supply Chain About the Role: This Temporary Associate supports the Atlanta Community Food Bank’s mission through short-term, project-based, or seasonal work within the assigned department. This role is designed to provide operational and administrative support while maintaining flexibility to meet organizational needs. This is a temporary, non-benefits-eligible position. What You’ll Do: Perform daily blind cycle counts and inventory audits under established procedures Accurately enter and update inventory data in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and barcode tools Verify inventory locations and assist with location updates as directed Support inventory movement tracking for received, stored, and distributed product Assist with routine inventory reports by compiling data and flagging discrepancies Follow documented standards, work instructions, and quality control guidelines Support weekly inventory activities, including data validation and documentation Work closely with Inventory and Warehouse teams to ensure data accuracy and compliance Key Competencies we look for in All our Food Bankers are: Customer Focus Decision Making Accountability The Ability to Navigate Change If you’re excited about this role and can clearly demonstrate these and the other skills named below, we encourage you to apply. What You’ll Need: Skills your resume should demonstrate: Experience performing accurate data entry in a structured system or database Strong attention to detail when working with numbers, records, or inventory data Ability to follow written procedures, work instructions, and standard operating guidelines Experience verifying information for accuracy and identifying discrepancies Comfort working with computer systems such as inventory, warehouse, point-of-sale, or ERP tools Ability to complete repetitive, task-based work consistently and accurately Basic inventory, stockroom, warehouse, or record-keeping experience (preferred, not required) Ability to organize information and maintain clear, accurate documentation Dependable work habits, including meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy standards Ability to work collaboratively with supervisors and team members in an operational environment Even better if you can operate a sit-downsit down forklift.
