JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Temporary BBQ Worker to join our team at the Comox Valley Ribfest in Cumberland. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for food service. As a Temporary BBQ Worker, you will be responsible for preparing and serving delicious BBQ dishes while ensuring excellent customer service and adherence to food safety standards.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in food preparation or kitchen roles is preferred.
  • Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
  • Experience with cashiering and basic math skills for accurate cash handling is required.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests.
  • Restaurant experience is a plus, particularly in the food industry or similar environments.
