The Cam Clark Auto Group is seeking a Temporary Body Shop Administrator for our Cam Clark Ford Lincoln location in North Vancouver, BC.

In the position of Body Shop Administrator reporting to the Body Shop Estimator, the successful candidate will be responsible for estimating parts and labor requirements and costs for repairs, examining the extent of damages on vehicles, and providing estimates to customers while ensuring superior customer service.

Responsibilities

YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR:

· Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing updates on repair status and ensuring exceptional customer service throughout the repair process.
· Assist the Body Shop Estimator by preparing, organizing, and maintaining repair estimate documentation and related paperwork.
· Coordinate the scheduling of vehicle repairs, ensuring timely communication between customers, technicians, insurance adjusters, and vendors.
· Order and track required parts for body shop repairs, maintaining accurate inventory and ensuring timely availability to avoid delays.
· Accurately input and maintain customer and vehicle information into management systems, ensuring all data is up to date and compliant with internal processes.
· Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including phone calls, emails, and customer inquiries, ensuring prompt responses.
· Process work orders, invoices, and payments in coordination with accounting and service departments.
· Monitor repair progress and assist in communicating timelines or delays to customers and internal stakeholders.
· File and maintain customer records, insurance documents, and other administrative files for easy retrieval and compliance.
· Support the Body Shop Team and Estimator with daily administrative tasks and reporting requirements.
· Perform other related administrative duties as required to ensure the smooth operation of the body shop.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU MUST HAVE:

· A valid driver’s license
· Proven abilities in automotive body repairs
· Ability to work independently in a busy environment
· Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
· Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
· Able to work well under pressure
· Strong attention to detail
· Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.
· Competent Computer skills
