OVERVIEW

We are working with a fantastic Bristol based business, who are looking for a Credit Controller on a temporary 3 month contract. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well established organisation.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in a credit control or finance role is essential.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, or Xero is highly desirable.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and manage the accounts receivable ledger to ensure timely payments from clients.
  • Conduct credit checks on new and existing customers to assess risk levels.
  • Issue invoices and reminders for overdue accounts, following up as necessary.
  • Liaise with clients regarding payment issues and resolve any discrepancies in a professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of all communications and transactions related to credit control.
  • Collaborate with the accounts payable team to ensure seamless financial operations.
  • Assist in the development of credit control policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.
