Description
Duties include ensuring spaces are prepared for clients and employees by taking out trash, tidying furniture and dusting surfaces. Custodian will also be responsible for keeping a running inventory of all cleaning supplies and submitting purchasing requests when supplies are low. Performing routine cleaning tasks based on a schedule such as sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors. Washing and sanitizing toilets and sinks as well as restocking soap and paper products. Wiping mirrors and windows. Sweeping off sidewalks and front covered area. Emptying trash and smoking receptacles and bagging for proper disposal. Preparing rooms for different events. Monitoring building and reporting problems as they arise.  NOTE: Must be available to work from 8am - 1pm but subject to change if the need arises.  QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED required. Ability to understand and follow safety procedures regarding cleaning and supplies, as well as operate vacuums and other related cleaning equipment.  REQUIREMENTS: Upon job offer, applicant will be required to complete a drug screen, TB testing, criminal background check, and provide a 3-year driving record. Tentative scheduling would be Monday - Friday from 8am - 1pm.
