SUMMARY Uses various communication and computerized methods to assure satisfaction to both internal and external customers by performing the following duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. * Receives and answers inquiries from customers regarding order status, shipments, and various other customer issues. * Pulls copies of packing slips, bill of lading & invoices to send to customer. * Files packing slips, bill of lading, invoices daily * Creates PDF of packing slips, bill of lading, invoices for e-mail to customers. * Follows up on customer inquiries and research to assure satisfactory completion. * Enters alphabetic, numeric, or symbolic data from source documents into computer following format displayed on screen. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
