The Team: The Import Export Team plays a crucial role in ensuring our merchandise and non-merchandise arrive safely and efficiently while adhering to all federal regulations of import/export. Our goal is to deliver our merchandise to the Distribution Center as timely as possible in partnership with external and internal clients. Our team is diverse in knowledge, skills and policies to support the ever-growing business. The Opportunity: As a Temporary Customs Audit Coordinator you play a key role in supporting a project based assignment for 3-4 months, based on the needs of the project. In this temporary role you will support the organization and analysis of key reporting, ensure files used to relay information to Customs Brokers are accurate and up to date, and support day-to-day functions of team as needed. While your primary focus will be within one division, you will also cross-train and provide assistance to other divisions as needed, contributing to a collaborative and well-rounded team environment. This position is based onsite in our Dayton, NJ Distribution & Service Center. About the Role: * Candidate is expected to review documentation (bills of lading, invoice, packing list and customs entries) for accuracy. * Review and determine any discrepancies related to however not limited to Country or origin, HTS code and value. * Communicate any discrepancy with manager and align on resolution. Actual rates are determined based on the job, location, and individual experience.
