We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the Finance Office: Major Duties and Responsibilities The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following: Processing payroll accurately in a timely and confidential manner; Preparing payroll related reconciliations and reports; Participating in payroll closing and handle payroll related accounting; Maintaining proper record keeping / filings; Following up on payroll enquiries; Handling retirement scheme administration and taxation matters; and Undertaking other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Director of Finance or his delegate. Candidates Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence: A recognized bachelor’s degree, preferable in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines; Candidates with less qualifications may be considered for the position of Temporary Assistant Accounting Officer. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, e.g. EXCEL, ACCESS, etc.; Proven payroll and accounting related experience is preferred; Recognized diploma or above in accounting disciplines or professional accounting qualification is an advantage; Experience in Oracle Finance System and Oracle Human Resources Management System (HRMS) will be an added advantage; Well versed with Hong Kong Employment Ordinance, Hong Kong Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Ordinance and related legislations; Good communication skills in both Chinese and English (preferably including Putonghua); Responsible, well-organized, attentive to details and independent; and Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
