Description
Description We do our best to keep our building and everything in it in tip-top shape, but this place is huge and we need another Facilities Specialist to help keep this place running smoothly. That means that we’re looking for a person who is not afraid to get their hands dirty and take care of whatever comes our way. From fixing scooters one day to using a forklift to get rid of tons of cardboard (not even close to an exaggeration) and replacing the lights on the ceiling of the warehouse, you’ll never be short of tons of random stuff to take care of! Since you will be doing different tasks almost every day, you will be learning almost every day. What’s the best part? You can take these skills home with you! This is awesome because then you don’t have to pay someone to fix something you already know how to fix. It will also help in preventing YouTube how-to failures. Let’s face it, we’ve all been there and we don’t want to talk about it… Requirements Responsibilities: Complete basic household DIY-type projects Cardboard and garbage management throughout the building Replacing light bulbs Make minor repairs on various pieces of equipment and other broken stuff Painting, varnishing, staining, etc. Use basic power tools Must be able to pass equipment operation training Other duties as assigned Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Possess a valid driver’s license Eager to learn and love being hands-on 18 years of age or over Able to maintain a safe workspace, paying attention to best practices and OSHA safety regulations Able to move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing 50 pounds without assistance Able to move up and down stairs, service ramps, and/or ladders Able to stand throughout entire shift Able to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stopping Wage: Starting at $15.25 (+2 for machines once trained) + increase on 09/06/2026
Responsibilities
Maintain the building and warehouse through various DIY projects, equipment repairs, and waste management. Tasks include replacing light bulbs, painting, and operating machinery like forklifts.
