Due to continued success and major expansion plans, our client is seeking to recruit a highly competent Health and Safety Manager to promote a culture of safety, compliance and operational excellence. You will also have line management responsibility for an on-site HSQE Coordinator.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in an HSEQ management role, ideally within the recycling, waste, manufacturing, or heavy industry sectors
  • NEBOSH General Certificate essential
  • Strong knowledge of ISO standards and legislation
  • Experience managing audits and driving practical, site-based improvements
  • Knowledge of COMAH and DSEAR regulations ideal but not essential

Hours: Monday - Friday
Salary: £20-25 Per Hour D.O.E

  • Monitor current SSOW’s (Safe Systems of Work) and deliver training
  • Provide Health and Safety support to employees outside of the department
  • Check compliance with current systems and implement process improvements
  • Manage Health and Safety processes for contractors working on site
  • Identify risks and manage the incident reporting process
