We are looking for a temporary/cover driver for a pharmacy to cover Monday 14th to Friday 18th July 12.30midday to 8pm each day with the exception of Friday 18th, 11am to 8pm.
Although only 5 days, this role is ad hoc and other dates may become available for further holiday/sickness cover.
Driving the pharmacy van, you will be picking up and delivering Pharmacy products from Pharmacy to Care homes.
Pay is £13.75 per hour paid as a minimum 8 hours shift (so minimum £110 per shift)
For insurance purposes you must be aged 26 years or above with no more than 3 points on your licence as you will be delivering using the pharmacy van.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently transport goods to designated locations
- Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Verify and document the contents of each delivery before departure and upon arrival
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting with customers in a professional and courteous manner
- Valid UK driver’s license with no more than 3 points
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Access to phone as you will be required to download the pharmacy delivery app/use the tech
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
