Temporary Hospice CNA – 4-Week Assignment Locations: Yadkin Service Area Schedule: Monday–Friday | 40 hours/week Duration: 8 weeks | Start ASAP Mountain Valley Hospice is seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant for a defined, short-term hospice assignment. This role is ideal for a CNA who wants meaningful work with a predictable weekday schedule—without weekends, or a long-term commitment. Position Highlights * $25/hour (non-benefited) * Monday–Friday only * No weekends. No on-call. * Mileage reimbursement at $0.70 per mile * 8-week commitment with clear expectations * Supportive interdisciplinary team and established workflows What You’ll Do * Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility * Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support to patients and families * Observe and report changes in patient condition to the supervising nurse * Follow individualized care plans and hospice protocols * Maintain accurate documentation of care provided What We’re Looking For * Active CNA certification * Hospice or home health experience preferred * Comfortable working independently in the field * Organized, dependable, and patient-centered This opportunity is ideal for an experienced CNA seeking short-term work with a predictable schedule.
