Position Overview: The onsite Human Resources Administrative Assistant will perform administrative duties related to the operations of the human resource office. Responsibilities: Provide administrative support to one or more human resources functions including hourly recruiting, pre-employment phone screening, initiating background checks, new hire onboarding, orientation, and employee records. Answer and direct departmental phone calls and create service tickets. Respond to routine inquiries on HR and company policies. Schedule and organize appointments and take minutes during departmental meetings. Maintain HRIS Community employee engagement platform (Paylocity), update bulletin boards. Provide early morning HR coverage to onsite employees. Assist with employee engagement planning and execution. May assist with preparation of human resource reports such as attendance, new hire, and turnover reports. Perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required. Ability to maintain confidential information. Ability to type 60 words a minute. Ability to work onsite Monday-Friday and occasional early mornings or late evenings. Intermediate to advanced Excel skills. Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of office management systems and procedures. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Google Suite or similar software. Preferred: 1+ years of direct customer service experience. 1+ years of social media content management. Experience with HRIS systems; Paylocity. Two years of administrative assistant experience. Bilingual: Spanish
