Effectively communicates with patients and others about SBH services in their area(s) of expertise or responsibility and ensures that concerns, questions or issues reach the right person(s) in SBH in a timely fashion. 4.Read and interpret block diagram blueprints and ladder diagram electrical schematics.  Maintain, troubleshoot and repair pneumatic components as well as air compressors, air dryers, PRV, supply and branch air. 5.Performs preventative maintenance procedures on all units and systems. 6.Participates in the installation of new air conditioning units. 7.Align, replace and repair motors, bearings, couplings, sheaves, starters and pumps. 8.Soft solder refrigerant, pneumatic and water lines. 9.Screw, bolt, rivet, weld and braze parts to assemble structural and functional components such as motors, pneumatic and electronic controls, switches, gauges, wiring harnesses, valves, pumps, compressors, condensers and pipes. 10.Pump specified gas or fluid into system; start system, observe operation, read gauges and instruments, and adjust mechanism such as valves, controls and pumps to control level of fluid, pressure and temperature. 11.Dismantle malfunctioning systems and test components; replace or adjust defective or worn parts to repair systems; test and treat condenser and chilled water systems and add appropriate chemicals to adjust to proper concentration level. 12.Install wiring to connect components to electrical power source.  Use Facilities Automated Control system to locate system problems and take corrective action; troubleshoot and repair all air conditioning units, water coolers, split systems, heat pumps and mixing boxes; troubleshoot and repair pneumatic, electronic and line voltage controls. 13.Maintain and repair air handlers to include adjusting airflows and temperature to achieve energy savings and comfort level. 14.Perform duties assigned to lower level positions in HVACR series as needed, to include performing preventive maintenance on air side and water side equipment, identifying, installing, maintaining and disposing of all types of filters, cleaning  mechanical room, picking up and delivering parts, and assisting higher level heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVACR) mechanics. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS:   1. Education Required – High School diploma. Three (3) years Air Conditioning Refrigeration Trade School or five (5) on-the-job repairing commercial A/C equipment. 2. License(s) Required – CFC Universal Technician 3. Experience/Skills Required – Ability to evacuate and charge A/C and Refrigeration units according to E.P.A. Clean Air Act. 4. Position will last for 6-8 weeks
