We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Science and Technology: Major Duties and Responsibilities The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following: Preparing the necessary materials and equipment for setting up laboratory class and STEAM workshops; Demonstrating laboratory experiments and providing analytical instrument training to students and laboratory users; Assisting in handling of license, purchasing orders and inventory for updating, renewal and maintaining the facilities in the laboratories; Providing technical support to academic staff and students; Ensuring the safety and security related issues in the laboratories; and Performing any other duties as assigned by supervisors. Candidates Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence: A Higher Diploma or above in science, technology, engineering or a related discipline; At least 2 years’ relevant experience; Experience in operating and performing maintenance for instruments would be an advantage; Detail-oriented, hardworking, responsible, able to meet deadlines and can work independently; Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese; and Good computer skills and interpersonal skills.
