Temporary Lecturer in Political Science or International Relations (Docent 3)
The Institute of Political Science of Leiden University is seeking to fill at least 3 temporary teaching positions for the 25-26 academic year. The candidate will teach courses independently or lead workgroups. We have needs for instructors with expertise in quantitative methods, qualitative methods, international relations, comparative politics, and political economy. The positions will last at least 1-year from 1 September 2025 until 30 August 2026. We are open to part-time employment but prefer a full-time commitment (32-38 Hours per week).
The position will require leading instruction of political science and international relations bachelor’s and master’s courses.
Serve as primary instructor in lectures and/or seminars.
