We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Education and Languages: ENGL 1202EEF University English: Listening and Speaking Major Duties and Responsibilities The appointee(s) will be required to teach a minimum of 15 hours per week on campus. The appointee(s) shall complete related duties including: • Planning and teaching a full-time English Language Proficiency Course for undergraduate students; • Completing related duties including preparing teaching notes, marking and commenting on assignments and examination papers; • Assisting in the development of teaching and learning activities; • Providing consultation to students; • Demonstrating the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team; and • Performing other duties related to the development and delivery of the course. The appointee(s) will be required to teach on campus for the period between January 2026 and May 2026. Candidates Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence: • A higher degree in English linguistics, applied English linguistics, English language and/or literature or a related discipline; and • Must be excellent in both written and spoken English. Preference will be given to applicants with teaching experience in tertiary education.
