You’ll complete repairs, prepare apartment homes for new residents, and ensure the property remains safe, functional, and visually appealing. This role combines hands-on technical work, problem solving, and customer service in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: * Preventative & Routine Maintenance * Perform ongoing maintenance on building systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general property components * Maintain lighting, irrigation systems, pools, and overall grounds * Support the overall safety, cleanliness, and functionality of the community * Repairs & Service Requests * Diagnose and complete repairs for work orders and service requests * Handle interior and exterior repairs including fixtures, appliances, and structural elements * Respond to maintenance issues promptly and effectively * Unit Turns & Make-Readies * Prepare apartment homes for new residents within required timelines * Complete repairs and ensure units meet company quality standards * Communicate unit readiness with management  * Inventory & Shop Organization * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe maintenance shop * Track inventory and ensure adequate supplies are available * Report major repair needs prior to expenditures * Resident Experience * Provide professional, courteous service to residents * Communicate clearly with residents and management * Support a positive and responsive community  * On-Call & Team Support * Participate in on-call rotation and respond to after-hours emergencies * Assist with special projects as needed * Work collaboratively with maintenance and management teams  WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE * Timely completion of work orders and service requests * Make-ready units completed within established timelines * Maintains safe, clean, and organized work areas * Responds effectively to emergency and on-call needs * Consistently delivers high-quality repairs and workmanship * Supports overall property appearance and resident satisfaction GROW WITH US  This role offers a clear path within maintenance operations:  ➡️ Maintenance Technician I, II, III  ➡️ Lead Maintenance Technician  ➡️ Area Maintenance Supervisor  ➡️ Regional or Corporate Roles Advancement is based on experience, certifications, technical competencies, performance, and business needs.
