We are seeking a Mechanical Technician who plays a key part in preparing materials, maintaining a clean work environment, and supporting general repair operations. This is a temporary position for a minimum of 4 months, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role based on performance and business needs. Requirements Duties and Responsibilities Cutting and preparing materials required for the winding process Insert Nomax into the stators prior to the winding crew beginning their work Assist with basic setup and staging of components for the winding team Help maintain an efficient workflow by completing pre-winding tasks promptly and accurately Adhere to safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment and compliance with industry standards Support with basic tasks such as parts washing and component cleaning Assist with organizing parts and keeping work areas stocked with needed materials Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Assist with shop cleanup, tool organization, and material storage. Dispose of waste materials properly and follow all safety protocols. Education And Experience High school diploma or equivalent Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn Work Environment Exposure to hazardous equipment. Required use of proper safety equipment (e.g., steel-toed boots, safety glasses) and adherence to safety procedures. Exposure to loud noises. Additional Eligibility Requirements Ability to follow safety procedures and work instructions. Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Ability to prioritize tasks. Physical Requirements - Ability to lift fifty pounds. -Capability to stand for extended periods. - Walking, bending, kneeling - Physical coordination is required for operating machine controls and power tools.
