Description Part time temporary Laundry Aide 4pm - 8pm Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Laundry Aide, where your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will directly contribute to a safe and comfortable environment for our residents and staff. We are seeking a reliable and efficient individual who takes pride in maintaining high standards of hygiene and sanitation. Key Responsibilities: - Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens, clothing, and other laundry items in accordance with facility protocols. - Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently, performing routine maintenance and reporting any malfunctions. - Ensure proper handling and disposal of soiled linens and laundry to prevent contamination. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, adhering to infection control standards. - Document laundry activities accurately and manage inventory of supplies. - Assist with other housekeeping duties as needed to support overall facility cleanliness. Skills and Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent preferred. - Previous experience in laundry services or housekeeping is a plus. - Knowledge of laundry equipment and safety procedures. - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Good communication skills and a positive attitude. - Ability to lift and carry heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
