Bobier Villa, “the little home with a lot of heart”, is a 57-bed long-term care facility nestled in the community of Dutton, Ontario in the Municipality of Dutton/Dunwich just 20 minutes west of London, Ontario. Bobier Villa offers 24-hour nursing care, both private and basic accommodation, sitting areas as well as expansive gardens, a large water feature and gazebos.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be a graduate of a Personal Support Worker program from a recognized post-secondary institution.
• Must be willing to further training/education of the Personal Support Worker field through in-services, etc.
• Current knowledge regarding Health & Safety Procedures, Resident Bill of Rights, and Long-Term Care Homes Act.
• Demonstrates a commitment to the delivery of safe, efficient care to the personal needs of residents.

As a certified Personal Support Worker, you have the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to provide care and attention to the personal needs of all residents of the Home in accordance with established routine procedures. As a valued member of the nursing team, the Personal Support Worker assists residents with their daily needs which includes, but is not limited to, transfers, bathing, serving meals, making beds, performing minor treatments, daily reports, emptying laundry carts, answering call bells, ensuring residents’ rooms are tidy, as well as any additional duties the supervisor assigns.

What can you expect as an employee?

• Competitive compensation. Our PSW salary is $30.87- 31.30/hr and will receive 14% in lieu of benefits and 4% vacation pay, paid every pay (bi-weekly).
• Hours of Work: 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm- 6am.
