[Project R6906 - Building a Systematic and Secure Metaverse System for Education: The project aims to develop a secure metaverse system for education by integrating metaverse and blockchain technologies, with the goal of creating an immersive and safe learning environment. The Research Assistant (RA) will assist in prototype development, participant recruitment, instrument development and administration, and perform other duties as assigned. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. On-the-job training related to research methods will be provided.] We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the Lee Shau Kee School of Business and Administration for the following post(s): Major Duties and Responsibilities The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following: Developing a blockchain-based metaverse prototype for educational settings; Recruiting research participants and collecting data; Assisting in conducting in-depth interviews; Performing quantitative and/or qualitative data analysis; Drafting the final report and dissemination materials; and Providing other research-related assistance as required. Candidates Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence: A Master’s degree or above in Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related discipline; Familiarity with, or a strong foundation in, metaverse and/or blockchain technologies; Demonstrable experience in prototype development or design science is highly desirable; Excellent organisational, project management, and logistical coordination skills; and Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
