Support site coordination during a multi month tower painting and maintenance project at a high power RF broadcast facility. The role is focused on operational coordination and communication, not tower climbing or physical work. This individual will act as the daily coordination point between the painting contractor, tower tenants (broadcast, public safety, and transit), and internal engineering staff. Hourly rate: $50.00 Status: Temporary, part-time, benefits eligible Duration: 4 months Location: Seattle, onsite Benefits include: Sick time Company-matched 401(k) Retirement Plan that is fully-vested immediately Employer paid ORCA card Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Medical Dental Vision KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES Serve as the primary day to day site coordination contact during active tower work Conduct daily coordination calls with tower tenants to: -Review planned work areas for the day -Confirm required low power or no power RF windows -Establish clear power reduction and restoration timelines Maintain ongoing communication between: -Painting contractor/site crew -Broadcast and non broadcast RF tenants -Internal engineering and operations staff Track and document: -Power reduction schedules -Tenant acknowledgements -Any RF related constraints, delays, or incidents Support issue escalation when operational conflicts or safety concerns arise Assist with schedule adjustments related to weather, RF availability, or tenant needs Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES Excellent communication skills — this role is communication heavy and highly visible Ability to manage multiple stakeholders with competing operational priorities Comfortable operating independently with minimal day to day supervision Prior experience in a broadcast or media operations environment preferred. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Strong background in broadcast engineering, RF operations, or transmitter site operations Direct experience working in or around high power RF environments Clear understanding of: -RF exposure safety concepts -FM/TV transmitter operations -Public safety and mission critical communications systems Previous experience with tower tenant coordination, facility outages, or shared RF sites PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Must have reliable means of transportation to meet requirements of the job Ability to regularly type on a keyboard Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays
