Express Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a leading local authority to recruit for a Senior Project Manager, a prestigious, high-impact role leading the delivery of one of Derbyshire’s regeneration programmes.
This role is ideal for a senior project leader with experience in infrastructure, development, or regeneration, and a strong track record of managing multi-disciplinary teams.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Leadership of large-scale infrastructure or regeneration projects
  • Strong technical knowledge of highways, land reclamation, and statutory processes
  • Budget, programme, and stakeholder management
  • Extensive public sector, planning, and funding experience
  • Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field
  • Full drivers licence and ability to travel across sites and to external meetings

Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday
Salary: £31.64 per hour D.O.E.

Responsibilities
  • Manage cross-disciplinary teams across engineering, planning, and development
  • Oversee delivery of infrastructure (roads, utilities, railheads) and plot preparation
  • Secure planning approvals, CPOs, funding (Homes England, EMCCA), and manage public-private partnerships
  • Liaise with senior leadership, developers, and consultants.
  • Drive environmental improvements (woodlands, drainage, biodiversity, biomass)
