Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Support the HEDIS Medical Record Review project, which aims to collect data on a sample of BCBSRI members in the form of medical records to reflect more accurate results in a group of select quality measurements
  • Collaborate with Administrative Project Lead to coordinate with providers to gather medical records via various modes of retrieval
  • Communicate in a professional manner with providers and team members
  • Organize project tracker to reflect retrieval status of medical records, maintaining accurate and reliable documentation
  • Prepare correspondence, update measurement compliance results at a regular cadence, analyze results, and report results out to the team
  • Conduct industry research including attending industry informational sessions (National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) learning forums, Blue Cross & Blue Shield Association (BCBSA) quality topics, etc.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement within the project and the broader quality improvement scope within the context of HEDIS Digital Transformation
  • Assist team as necessary in meeting project work demands
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

BCBSRI is headquartered in downtown Providence, conveniently located near the train station and bus terminal. We actively support associate well-being and work/life balance and offer the following schedules, based on role:

  • In-office : onsite 5 days per week
  • Hybrid: onsite 2-4 days per week
  • Remote: onsite 0-1 days per week. Permitted to reside in the following states, pending approval from the Human Resources Department: Arizona, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Texas, Virgini
