Summary: This position is responsible for both the physical receipt of raw materials and components, as well as the data entry associated with this activity. Responsibilities: Unload trucks with forklift or pallet jack as required. Perform general inspection for damage Verify content and quantity of shipments delivered to Vander-Bend. Perform Receiving and Inventory transactions in VISUAL MANUFACTURING. Tag or label items received and stage for movement to assigned stocking location. May put away some items into stocking locations and enter appropriate transactions in VISUAL MANUFACTURING. May pull some items from stock for Manufacturing, and enter appropriate transactions in VISUAL MANUFACTURING. Performs other related tasks assigned by the department Supervisor. Requirements Education and Experience High School Diploma. Minimum 2 Years related job experience. Minimum 2 Years of computer experience using windows based software. Basic Arithmetic. Ability to work with limited supervision. Good organization skills. Ability to complete moderate to complex administrative documentation. Good communication skills. Thorough understanding of ERP systems, including Inventory Transactions, Adjustments, Issues, Receipts, Returns. Ability to lift 50 pounds. Extended periods of time standing. Extended periods working on a computer.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the physical receipt of raw materials and components, including unloading trucks and inspecting shipments. Performs data entry for receiving and inventory transactions within the Visual Manufacturing system.
