The Temporary Recruiter attracts and hires top talent, ranging from field operations to corporate roles. They’ll partner closely with Hooper’s corporate recruiters and hiring managers to understand workforce needs, manage the full recruitment cycle, and support ongoing growth in a fast-paced, project-driven environment. In addition, this position will last approximately 12 weeks. Principal Accountabilities: Prepare job postings and manage the hiring cycle Screen applicants for potential matches, and present them to hiring managers Schedule and attend onsite or virtual interviews with candidates and hiring teams Proactively source potential candidates through various channels, including job boards, LinkedIn, social media, and employee referrals Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned Requirements Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Experience: Minimum of 2 years in recruiting field, expertise in construction industry preferred Education: Preferred 2–4 year degree in HR, Communications, Business, or related field Proven ability: Experience conducting interviews, sourcing and screening candidates, and communication with hiring managers Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and preferred experience with Paylocity Behavioral Skills: Communication, interpersonal skills, time management Description of Physical Working Environment: Primarily office-based, with occasional travel to corporate meetings or career fairs. May require lifting of supply boxes or materials up to 30 lbs.
