JOB OVERVIEW

The Recruitment Coordinator administers a variety of activities in support of the recruitment team within Talent Acquisition. Responsibilities include managing and creating job postings, managing the candidate reference process, screening candidate resumes for entry level positions, supporting Talent Acquisition Specialists with high volume candidate pools, responding to candidate inquiries, and other administrative responsibilities in support of the TA function
The Recruitment Coordinator will also assist with event coordination for job fairs or marketing events and assist with recruitment strategies as needed to streamline current process while ensuring compliance with human resources policies and guidelines. The Recruitment Coordinator is someone with strong customer service, time management, and organizational skills, healthcare recruitment knowledge, and a passion to support the work of Children’s Hospital Colorado.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • EDUCATION – High school diploma or GED Certificate.
  • EXPERIENCE – Three years of experience performing specialized or technical administrative support work within human resources. Healthcare recruitment knowledge; prior experience supporting talent acquisition preferred
  • EQUIVALENCY – Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Communications, or a related field may substitute for the experience requirement.
Responsibilities

  • Coordinates and administers a variety of human resource functions, programs, and activities such as tuition reimbursement, non-employee on-boarding, and/or training administration.
  • Interacts with employees (in person or via telephone or email) on a daily basis by explaining policies, procedures, and other related information and assists employees to resolve problems or issues.
  • Compiles and processes requests for reports, data, manuals, or other information as it relates to human resource activities or operations; examines documents and computations to determine accuracy, completeness and/or compliance with applicable human resources policies and guidelines.
  • Recommends, develops, and establishes processes, procedures or instructions to meet specific needs and challenges for assigned human resource functions.
  • Attends training sessions to learn concepts, principles, practices and applications of human resources work, studies applicable rules and regulations, and receives instruction in the interpretation and application of appropriate laws, rules, regulations, and procedures.
  • Participates in special projects as assigned and assists in orienting and on-boarding new Human Resource team members.
